JAMAICA BLUE MOUNTAIN, CHATSWORTH
Nowadays, the Chatsworth Estate produces about 450 kg per acre of precious coffee per crop. The handpicked coffee is grown at high altitude farms within the southeastern Blue Mountain region. This farm focuses on only the finest big bold beans for Grade 1 and uses extremely high quality and efficient farming methods.
After pulping and drying the coffee, it rests for eight to twelve weeks in specially designed silos of cured wolmanised pine. The combination of all these careful processing techniques generates a cup of coffee with a unique character. The Chatsworth Estate is a micro-lot farm belonging to the Gold Cup Estates, a well-known producer of excellent Jamaica Blue Mountain qualities.
